Let's say Mr. Chan takes up a personal loan of RM25,000 with CashOne and 6 months later, he has paid RM15,000 worth of loan repayments. The paid amount will automatically be converted into his credit card limit, this means that Mr. Chan now has a credit limit of RM15,000 on his Standard Chartered Platinum Credit Card and RM10,000 outstanding loan amount.

In the following week, Mr. Chan decides to top-up his loan by RM10,000 to pay for his home renovation. His credit card limit will then be automatically set to RM5,000, leaving Mr. Chan with a new loan balance of RM20,000.

Terms and conditions governing Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad's CashOne acquisition campaign 2012

Campaign

1. Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad's ("Bank") CashOne Acquisition Campaign ("Campaign") is valid from 1 February  2012 to 31 March 2012 ("Campaign Period")
2. By participating in this Campaign, participants agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below.

Eligibility

3. The Campaign is opened to new customers who apply for a CashOne Personal Loan during the Campaign Period ("Eligible Customers").
4. The following persons are NOT eligible to participate in this Campaign:-
   1. Existing CashOne Personal Loan customers;
   2. CashOne Personal Loan customers, whose CashOne accounts are in default, or terminated for whatever reason.
   3. Permanent and/or contract employees of the Bank (including its subsidiaries and related companies) and their immediate family members (spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters); and/or
   4. Representatives and/or agents (including advertising and Campaign agents) of Visa or MasterCard and their immediate family members (spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters); and/or
   5. Individuals below the age of 21 years.

Participation

5. To participate in this Campaign, the Eligible Customer’s CashOne application must reach us during the Campaign Period.
6. Eligible Customers whose CashOne application is approved shall be awarded a cash back of RM188.
7. The cash back shall be credited into the Eligible Customer's credit card account within 30 days from the CashOne approval date.
   
8. The approval of the Eligible Customer's application is subject to the Bank's respective Product(s)' approving criteria and eligibility.

General Information

9. The Bank's decision on all matters relating to this Campaign will be final and binding on all Eligible Customers of this Campaign, and no correspondence will be entertained. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by the Bank.
10. The Bank may vary of these Terms and Conditions and extend the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on the Bank's website at standardchartered.com.my, in the Bank's branches.
11. By participating in the Campaign, all participants:
    1. consent for the Bank to disclose their particulars to the Bank's service providers and suppliers for purposes of running this Campaign
    2. grant the Bank the absolute and unfettered right to modify, use and/or publish any still or moving image of the participants for any Campaign, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
12. SCBMB reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions and to extend, shorten or withdraw the Campaign at any time. Any such change will be announced beforehand on our website, and in our branches, and notified via the Account statements. Any such revision or withdrawal will not entitle any person to any claim whatsoever against the Bank. For updated versions of these Terms and Conditions, if any, revisit this page from time to time.
13. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign
