PCI Campaign Terms and Conditions*
   
1. The qualifying period for Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad’s (“Bank”) PCI Cash Bonus Campaign (“Promotion”) is from 20th January until 30th April 2010 (both dates inclusive) (“Qualifying Period”).
   
2. This Promotion is open to all customers of the Bank (except citizens / residents of the United States of America and staff of the Bank) who either:
 
(a) have never invested in the Premium Currency Investment (“PCI”) prior to the Promotion; or
(b) have invested in the PCI prior to the Promotion but not within a period of 6 months immediately before the 1st January 2010;
   
  (“Eligible Investors”).
   
3. Eligible Investors must fulfill the following requirements to be entitled to the Cash Bonus:
 
(a) Transact at least one PCI deal (“First Qualifying Deal”) with a Qualifying Deal Amount (defined below) within the Qualifying Period; and
(b) Within 4 months from the date of that First Qualifying Deal, transact at least 4 more PCI deals of Qualifying Deal Amounts under the same PCI account, making a total of 5 PCI deals of Qualifying Deal Amounts (together referred to as “Qualifying Deals”).
   
4. Each PCI deal must be of at least the following principal amounts (“Qualifying Deal Amount”):
   
  For non-Priority Banking / SME Banking customers: RM150,000 (or equivalent in foreign currency).
   
5. The Cash Bonus will be credited into the Eligible Investor’s PCI Ringgit Malaysia account (if any) within the calendar month immediately following the month in which the fifth and last of the Qualifying Deals is transacted. If the Eligible Investor does not have a PCI Ringgit Malaysia account at the time the Cash Bonus is to be credited, he must immediately provide the Bank with details of a Ringgit Malaysia account held with the Bank in his name for purposes of receiving the Cash Bonus.
   
6. Regardless of the total number of Qualifying Deals transacted by an Eligible Investor, each Eligible Investor is entitled to receive only one instance of the Cash Bonus.
   
7. The Bank reserves the right to amend, alter or modify the terms and conditions of this Promotion wholly or in part, as well as the right to terminate or suspend the Promotion at its absolute discretion, without prior notice.
   
8. If there is any discrepancy between the English language version of these Terms and Conditions and versions in any other language, the English Language version shall prevail.
   
9. The Promotion and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia and, by participating in this Promotion, the customers submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.
