Osman Tarique Morad has been appointed the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) for SCBMB on October 20, 2009. As CEO and Managing Director, Osman is responsible for the implementation of the Standard Chartered’s business strategies and overall Corporate Governance not only for SCBMB but also for the Group’s operations in Malaysia.
This includes Scope International (M) Sdn. Bhd. and IT-365 Sdn. Bhd. which form the Standard Chartered Group’s Global Shared Service Centre currently based at Technology Park Malaysia and Price Solutions Sdn. Bhd. Osman will sit on the board of Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad, the wholly owned Islamic Finance subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad.
In his role, Osman brings with him 32 years of extensive experience in the baking industry. |

DATO’ LIM SAY CHONG
Dato’ Lim Say Chong was appointed as Standard Chartered Trust Fund Trustee on June 15, 2009.
He was appointed to the Board of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad from 1994, following the bank’s local incorporation, as an independent non-executive director until March 2009. He had also served as the Chairman of the Risk Committee; and the Audit Committee of the Bank.
Dato’ Lim was the Group Managing Director of Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad from 1989 to September 2004. Dato’ Lim held several senior positions during his 30-year career with the ICI Group in Malaysia and abroad. |

Datuk Ahmad A. Talib has more than 30 years of editorial experience prior to his current position as Executive Director, News for both Media Prima and the New Straits Times Press.
He is an activist too, with involvement in several NGOs. Currently he is an active Board Member of Yayasan Salam and also National Chairman of the Malaysian Red Crescent Publicity Committee, Board Member of Yayasan Anak Yatim Malaysia and Board Member of the National Tourism Council of Malaysia. |

DATUK TENGKU SARIFFUDDIN BIN TENGKU AHMAD
PRESS SECRETARY TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF M’SIA / DIRECTOR MEDIA DIVISION
Datuk Tengku Sariffuddin started his career as a Journalist at the New Straits Times, Johor Bahru in 1987. He was transferred to NSTP Headquarters Kuala Lumpur in 1991 where he was assigned to the general desk covering political and social events.
In 1997, he was offered the position of Press Secretary to the then Education Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib and thereafter his continued his services when Dato’ Sri held the positions as Deputy Prime Minister and currently the Prime Minister. Datuk Tengku Sariffuddin is currently the Press Secretary to the Prime Minister of Malaysia and Director Media Division. |

DATUK SERI MICHAEL K C YAM
INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
STANDARD CHARTERED BANK MALAYSIA BERHAD
Datuk Seri Michael K. C. Yam is the founder and Managing Director of Impetus Partnership Prior to his current position in May 2008, Michael had an illustrious career spanning more than 28 years in the construction, real estate and corporate sectors, the last 12 years successfully managing two public listed companies as their CEO and Managing Director. In 2002, Michael was voted the “CEO of the year 2002” for Malaysia by American Express Corporate Services and Business Times.
He was appointed as Non-Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad on June 15, 2009. He is an independent non-executive director of public listed PECD Berhad and statutory board CLAB Berhad. He is currently Advisor to several local and foreign conglomerates including Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad, CMS Berhad, Serai Saujana Development Sdn Bhd and until recently Rajawali Corporation of Indonesia while at the same time serving as a director and of the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce. |

Norliza joined the Bank on February 22, 2010 from the Sapura Group where she was Senior General Manager, Group Corporate Communications.
Norliza has 20 years of communications experience and has held senior communications roles for companies in a range of sectors, including General Manager, Group Corporate Communications for Malaysia Airport Berhad and Vice President, Corporate Communications Celcom Malaysia Berhad. |
