Shah Alam Branch Promotion Terms and Conditions

Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad’s (“Bank”) Laman Seri Branch Promotion (“Promotion”) runs from 28th July 2010 to 28th October 2010 both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).

This Promotion is open to all individuals aged 18 and above, except for permanent and contract employees of the Bank, or of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad or Scope (M) International or Price Solutions Sdn Bhd.

Under this Promotion, customers of the Bank who have successfully applied for and accepted any of the Promotion Products will be eligible to receive Rewards. Details of the Promotion Products, the respective Eligibility Conditions, and the corresponding Rewards, are as set out below.

Promotion Product	:	Saadiq$aver-i and Business$aver-i account
Eligibility Condition	:	The first 300 customers to successfully open a new Saadiq$aver-i and Business$aver-i account at the Standard Chartered Saadiq Financial Centre, Laman Seri Shah Alam, with a minimum account-opening deposit of RM2,500 for Saadiq$aver-i and RM100,000 for Business$aver-i during the Promotion Period.
Reward	:	Saadiq golf umbrella.

Promotion Product	:	Saadiq Account-i
Eligibility Condition	:	Customers who open a Saadiq Account-i* with the Standard Chartered Saadiq Financial Centre at Laman Seri Shah Alam, during the Promotion Period. * For Saadiq Account-i, the reward is given for the savings account based on the contract of Mudharabah.
Reward	:	RM10 Secret Recipe voucher

Promotion Product	:	JustHome-i financing facility
Eligibility Condition	:	The customer who applies for and accepts the JustHome-i financing facility with the highest financing amount every 2 weeks throughout the Promotion Period, with the first 2 weeks starting from 28th July 2010. The facility must be applied for and taken up with the Standard Chartered Saadiq Financial Centre at Laman Seri Shah Alam. In addition, the prizes will be given provided after all security documents are signed and legal fees paid by the customer
Reward	:	32” Panasonic LCD TV – a voucher will be given to the winning customer after the customer complies with all the Eligibility Conditions. The customer can collect the Reward at the address stated on the voucher.

Promotion Product	:	BizProperty-i financing facility
Eligibility Condition	:	The customer who applies for and accepts the BizProperty-i financing facility with the highest financing amount every 2 weeks throughout the Promotion Period, with the first 2 weeks starting from 16th June 2010. The Facility must be applied for and taken up with the Standard Chartered Saadiq Financial Centre at Laman Seri Shah Alam. In addition, the prizes will be given provided after all security documents are signed and legal fees paid by the customer.
Reward	:	42” Panasonic LCD TV – a voucher will be given to the winning customer after the customer complies with all the Eligibility Conditions. The customer can collect the Reward at the address stated on the voucher.

Promotion Product

General Investment-i account (GIA-i) /
Special General Investment-i account (SGIA-i)

Eligibility Condition

Customers who open a GIA-i or SGIA-i with the Standard Chartered Saadiq Financial Centre at Laman Seri Shah Alam, with a minimum placement of RM1,000, during the Promotion Period.

Reward

Special Profit Sharing Rate:

Note: The indicative rates shown above are based on the previous month’s returns.

Promotion Product	:	Saadiq Takaful Aman / Saadiq Takaful Aqil
Eligibility Condition	:	The first 300 customers who place a minimum contribution of RM100 monthly under Saadiq Takaful Aman or Saadiq Takaful Aqil, through the Standard Chartered Saadiq Financial Centre at Laman Seri Shah Alam, during the Promotion Period.
Reward	:	Saadiq golf umbrella.

Promotion Product	:	Islamic Unit Trust
Eligibility Condition	:	Customers who subscribe a minimum placement of RM5,000 of Islamic Unit Trust with the Standard Chartered Saadiq Financial Centre at Laman Seri Shah Alam, during the Promotion Period.
Reward	:	Saadiq golf umbrella.

Promotion Product	:	Priority Banking Customer
Eligibility Condition	:	New Priority Banking customers with required minimum placement or financing on any of Saadiq products during the Promotion Period.
Reward	:	Crystal Pen & Cardholder with clock.

However, the Bank reserves the right to change any Reward to another item of similar value at the Bank’s discretion.

The Bank will not be held responsible for any defects in the Rewards. Customers are required to directly take up any disputes with the manufacturers or distributors of the Rewards for repairs or replacement, as per the terms of the relevant warranty (if applicable). In addition, the Bank will not be responsible for any loss, injury or damages suffered due to or inaccuracy in relation to the Rewards.

By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to:

(a)	be bound by these Terms and Conditions;
(b)	to participate in any prize giving ceremony, interviews or other publicity events required by the Bank; and
(c)	give their permission to the Bank to disclose or publish their names, photographs and any information that the Bank sees fit about the participant or their account in media, marketing and advertising materials.

The Bank reserves the right at its absolute discretion to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Promotion in whole or part, at any time and without prior notice.

This Promotion is governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the participants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia for all matters arising from this Promotion.
