Terms and Conditions: |

| 1. |
Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia
Berhad’s (SCBMB) “Double Whammy” (“Campaign”)
commences from 13 July 2009 – 20 September 2009
(“Campaign Period”). |
| |
|
|
| 2. |
This campaign is open to all Standard
Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad / Standard Chartered
Saadiq Berhad (“Saadiq”) customers who have maintained
their accounts with SCBMB and with Saadiq in good
standing, without any breach of the relevant terms
and conditions or agreements, throughout the Campaign
Period. |

| 3. |
Subject to clause
2 above, all existing and new customers of SCBMB
or Saadiq who: |

|
|
| |
3.1 |
hold at least one SCBMB or Saadiq account; |
| |
|
|
| |
3.2 |
have signed up for SCBMB’s/Saadiq’s Online
Banking service (whether before or during the
Campaign Period); |
| |
|
|
| |
3.3 |
have signed up for SCBMB’s/Saadiq’s eStatement
service (whether before or during the Campaign
Period) on all his/her accounts maintained with
both SCBMB and Saadiq, including both deposit
and financing accounts, and selected the option
WITHOUT hard copy statements; AND |
| |
|
|
| |
3.4 |
fulfill the Eligibility Criteria set out in
clause 4 below; are eligible to participate in
this promotion (“Eligible Participants”). |

| 4. |
Eligibility Criteria: |
| |
|
|
| |
4.1 |
The Eligible Participant must perform at least
one (1) online transaction during the Campaign
Period to participate (“Qualified Entry”). |
| |
|
|
| |
4.2 |
The Eligible Participant shall have a Qualified
Entry in each week of the Campaign Period, as
set out in clause 5.2 below, in which he/she has
performed at least one (1) online transaction. |

|
|
| |
4.3 |
Any online transactions made are attributed
based on the Username logged in for that transaction. |
| |
|
|
| |
4.4 |
Each online transaction will be attributed
by week based on the time when the transaction
is confirmed in our Online Banking system, i.e.
before midnight (Malaysian time) on the last day
(Sunday) of the week. SCBMB’s system records indicating
the time of the transaction will be conclusive
and final. |

| 5. |
During the Campaign Period, customers
stand to win the following prizes: |

5.1 |

(3) prizes every week during the Campaign Period:

5.2 |
The Campaign Period is divided into weeks as
follows for purposes of the prizes:

20th July 2009 to 26th July 2009 |
| Week 3: |
27th July 2009 to 2nd August 2009 |
| Week 4: |
3rd August 2009 to 9th August 2009 |

10th August 2009 to 16th August 2009 |
| Week 6: |
17th August 2009 to 23rd August 2009 |
| Week 7: |
24th August 2009 to 30th August 2009 |
| Week 8: |
31st August 2009 to 6th September 2009 |

7th September 2009 to 13th September 2009 |

| 6. |
Potential Winner Selection Method:
|
| |
|
|
| |
6.1 |
The winners of the Prizes will be determined
through a computerized selection process, where
all Qualified Entries in each week will be placed
on a list (“List”) in the order when the Eligible
Participant fulfilled all Eligibility Criteria.
The total number of Qualified Entries amassed
in the List for the relevant week will be divided
by three (3) and the result rounded down to the
nearest whole number (“Basic Determinant”). The
Basic Determinant will then be multiplied by 1,
2 and 3, and the resulting numbers will be known
as the “Determinants”. The winners for the Prizes
are the Eligible Participants whose positions
on the List match the 3 Determinants. Where the
Eligible Participant at any winning position has
previously won any Prizes in this Promotion, the
winner will be the Eligible Participant at the
next position in the List. |

| 7. |
Winner Notification: |
| |
|
|

7.1 |
Weekly Contest: |
| |
|

| a) |
Each potential winner will be notified
via the mobile phone number in our records.
Should a potential winner fail to be contacted
on the first attempt for, another attempt
will be made within the next one (1) day
of the first attempt. Where the second attempt
is unsuccessful, SCBMB reserves the right
to select another potential winner as described
in paragraph (b) below. |

In the event any potential winner selected
cannot be contacted or otherwise forfeits
his rights to the prize, SCBMB will select
another potential winner, being the person
whose Qualified Entry is next on the list
of Qualified Entries for the relevant prize
week. |

| 8. |
Winner Eligibility:
|

|
|
| |
8.1 |
There will be only one (1) winner for each
Prize. |
| |
|
|
| |
8.2 |
Each person is entitled to win only one (1)
Prize throughout the Campaign Period. Where an
Eligible Participant becomes the potential winner
of more than one prize, he will be entitled only
to the prize which was first in time. |

|
|
| 9. |
SCBMB reserves the
right to substitute any prizes, whether in whole
or part, with items of similar value at any time
without prior notice. |
| |
|
|
| 10. |
Prizes are not transferable,
and non-cash prizes are not exchangeable for cash
in whole or in part. SCBMB will not be liable
to compensate prize winners who are otherwise
unable to enjoy their prize for any reason whatsoever.
|

|
|
| 11. |
Prizes will be delivered
to addresses within Peninsula Malaysia or East
Malaysia only. P.O. Box and overseas addresses
will not be entertained. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks
for delivery of prizes. In any event any Winner
does not accept delivery of the prize within 30
days of the date he/she is notified, the Prize
will be given to the next potential winner in
accordance with Clause 7. The Winners consent
for their relevant particulars to be disclosed
to merchants or other agents of SCBMB for delivery
of the Prizes, and agree that such merchants or
agents may contact the Winners directly in respect
of such delivery arrangements. |

| 12. |
SCBMB and Saadiq make
no representation or warranties with respect to
the Prizes given in this Campaign and in particular
makes no warranties with respect to the quality
of the Prizes or their suitability to any purpose.
All Winners acknowledge that they must liaise
directly with the relevant merchants to resolve
any disputes over the Prizes. SCBMB and Saadiq
shall not be responsible for nor shall they accept
any liability of whatsoever nature arising directly
or indirectly from the Campaign and/or the Prizes
howsoever arising and suffered by any persons.

| 13. |
SCBMB’s decision on
all matters relating to this Campaign including
but not limited to the selection of the Winners
for the Prizes will be final and binding on all
persons participating in this Campaign, and no
correspondence will be entertained. Any matters
not covered by these Terms and Conditions shall
be determined solely by SCBMB at its discretion.

| 14. |
Notwithstanding anything
contained herein, SCBMB reserves the right to
withdraw any winning notification and/or to replace
a Winner in the event such Winner is subsequently
found to be disqualified by any reasons whatsoever.

| 15. |
By participating in this Promotion,
Eligible Participants hereby consent to and agree
that SCBMB shall be at liberty to publish their
names, pictures, city of residence and identity
card/passport numbers for advertising and publicity
purposes. |

|
| 16. |
SCBMB reserves the right to cancel,
terminate or suspend this Campaign with or without
prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation,
termination or suspension by SCBMB of this Campaign
shall not entitle the Eligible Participants, Potential
Winners or the Winners to any claim against SCBMB
or Saadiq for any and all losses or damage suffered
or incurred by any party as a direct or indirect
result of the act of cancellation, termination
or suspension. |

| 17. |
SCBMB reserves the right at its
absolute discretion to amend, delete or add to
any of these Terms and Conditions from time to
time without prior notice. |

| 18. |
By participating in this Campaign,
each Eligible Participant agrees to be bound by
these Terms and Conditions. |
