On 19 March 2008,
Standard Chartered Bank organised a
private screening of the hit movie “10,000BC”
for our top distinguished customers.
The event was held jointly with KPMG
and Prudential Fund Management Berhad
to share on “Managing taxes”
in light of the season on tax reporting
as well as updates on “Growing
their wealth in an uncertain market
environment” with the first ETF
(Exchange Traded Fund) in Malaysia.
It was delivered at
the Premiere Hall of Golden Screen Cinemas
@ The Gardens, Mid Valley that seats
160 people with top-notch THX surround
sound system and giant screen.

started off the event at 7.30p.m., followed
by market updates and information on
ETF investment opportunities with Prudential’s
Country Selection Fund by Mr. Mark Toh,
CEO of Prudential Fund Management Berhad.
Guest speakers of the night were Mr.
Chew Theam Hock and Ms. Long Yen Ping,
Executive Directors of KPMG Tax Advisory
Sdn Bhd who imparted their extensive
knowledge on taxation for both individuals
and corporations.
The event ended with
the private screening of the movie “10,000
BC”.
